Technical information about our conservatory blinds

At austinmarr we strive to fit the best possible conservatory blinds perfectly. We do this through our many years of experience and our attention to detail.

Rails

Our rails are made from extruded aluminium which means that they are very strong and will not rust. They are available in white, magnolia and brown.

Components

Our components are made from high quality UV-resistant materials to avoid discolouration. This also means that they will not become brittle with age. The springs we use for tensioning the blinds (and which are hidden from view behind the rails) are rust resistant.

We use universal installation clips, which can't be seen from the inside of the conservatory, to bring the blind's rails in to much closer contact with the window frame for a really elegant finish.

Tension Cords

Tension cords are an essential part of a pleated blind, causing the blind to remain exactly where you leave it. We use 0.8mm diameter colour-coordinated cords to complement the colour of your choice of fabric.
